It was pretty good for a first attempt. It was certainly the perfect snack for a snow day like today. Next time around, I would prefer it to be a little thicker. So I'll make sure to make mental notes for my next attempt.

'Tis the Season to Cook: Corn Soup
As I promised in a previous post, I'm going to share my attempt at corn soup. My uncle usually makes it for the holidays, but this year he is in Trinidad. I love corn and crave this soup so much that I took a shot at it with a recipe from my Naparima Girls' Cookbook.
It was pretty good for a first attempt. It was certainly the perfect snack for a snow day like today. Next time around, I would prefer it to be a little thicker. So I'll make sure to make mental notes for my next attempt.
