It's that time again.
It's NYC Restaurant Week! (January 25- February7, 2010)
This is the time when you can enjoy finer dining at a discount. Yup, you heard me. Participating restaurants are offering three-course dinners for ONLY $35 (and lunch for less than $25). Also, this year is the first time we'll be seeing the Restaurant Week Truck, which will be offering lunch time specials on soups on street corners around the city.
Which restaurants are you looking forward to trying?
P.S. Food Network is back! After a few weeks without Food Network (and HGTV) because of some squabble between Scripps Network and CableVision, I am so happy to have Food Network back in my life. Oh, how I missed it.
I love it when restaurant week begins...LOVE IT! Do you have any recommendations?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one. :-)
ReplyDeleteOf the restaurants listed, I've only been to B. Smith's which was pretty good.
From looking at the list, City Lobster and Steak caught my eye. I LOVE seafood and don't frequent steakhouses as often as I'd like. So that looks like the best of both worlds.
I'm also intrigued by the atmosphere of Terrace in the Sky but a little less excited about the menu.
I would also love to visit Water's Edge. From the website alone, I think I would like it there.
I'd love to know what restaurants you visit during this week and how your experience is overall.
Thanks for reminding me of restaurant week. I almost forgot...hopefully I can still snagg a great lunch...
ReplyDeleteIt's been extended until February 28! YYEEESSSS!
